My name is David Mallin. I work as a cinematographer and filmmaker. I am a founding partner of Cloudchaser Films LLC, our staff artist and tech.
I have a MFA from AFI (American Film Institute) in Hollywood, and an undergraduate degree from American University in Washington, DC.
I shoot Digitial Cinema (RED, etc.), film (35mm and S16mm), High Definition and with HD-SLRs. I am a workflow expert and a Final Cut Pro editor.
I've spent years as a documentary cameraman and director.
I've also taught cinematography and documentary production at a university level.
